I can honestly say every wedding I photograph is important to me. It was such an honour to photograph Hannah & Paul's wedding, not just because they were such a great couple or their wedding celebrations took place in the beautiful Swallows Nest Barn but because their ceremony took place within walking distance of my home - at St Marys Church in Moseley, Birmingham.

The day started out at The Burnside Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon where I photographed the bride and her bridesmaids getting ready. I don't always get to photograph this part of the day, hey, it's not everyone's cup of tea but it often yields a few real treasured moments and it's always a nice way to start the day.

A quick dash back to Moseley where I arrived at St. Mary's church in time for Hannah's arrival and the beautiful church service where Hannah & Paul married in front of a full congregation.

We then headed to Swallows Nest Barn - a wonderful family-owned converted barn where weddings have been held since 2014. The staff were so attentive and it really made for a great, well-organised day for the happy couple and their guests.

The venue itself made for some really beautiful photos and I was so happy with the final edits. Judge for yourself, and have a scroll of a small selection of photos from the day.
